Information on the use of cookies and other tracking tools provided pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.

1. What cookies and other tracking tools are

Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user’s device, where they are stored so that they can be sent back to the same websites on the next visit. Alongside cookies, other tools exist (identifiers stored in the browser, pixels, fingerprinting) that make it possible to recognise the user or their device.

The law distinguishes between technical cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the website or for providing a service requested by the user and do not require consent, and profiling cookies and similar tools, which may only be used with the user’s informed consent.

2. Cookies used by this Website

The public section of the Website does not install any cookie or any other identifier on the user’s device: no technical session cookies, no analytics cookies and no profiling cookies, whether first- or third-party.

In particular, the Website:

  • does not use traffic analytics systems (e.g. Google Analytics or equivalents);
  • does not embed pixels, plugins or social network buttons;
  • does not use fingerprinting techniques or other device identifiers;
  • does not use the browser’s local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) to identify the user;
  • hosts its fonts directly on its own servers, without requesting them from external services (e.g. Google Fonts).

For this reason the Website does not display a consent banner: under the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021, a banner is required only where cookies or tracking tools other than technical ones are used.

3. Content delivered from third-party servers

The images and videos on the Website are delivered through content delivery networks (CDN) operated by Sanity (cdn.sanity.io) and Cloudinary (res.cloudinary.com). Loading such content does not install cookies on the user’s device, but it does involve the transmission to the provider’s servers of the technical connection data (IP address, user agent) required to deliver the requested content. 4. Restricted content management area

The Website’s administration area (path /studio), accessible only to editors authorised by the Controller by means of credentials, uses strictly technical cookies and browser local storage that are necessary for authentication and for maintaining the working session (provider: Sanity AS). These are technical tools exempt from consent under Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code and do not concern visitors to the Website in any way.
